Soror Jimmie Leigh Simmons is a U.S. Army Soldier with 18 years of active duty service. She possesses an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration. She has served as the President of Savannah Alpha Alpha Chapter, Soror Representative for Region 4 (now Southern Region), Pearl Process Director and Regional Director for Eastern Region. She has assisted in developing Sorors as leaders/mentors, and turning visions and strategies into action. One of her main priorities is Uniting, Mentoring, and giving back to our community as she upholds her promise as a Soror. She strives to serve as the epitome of an Elite Professional while helping to usher our beloved sisterhood into the future.

Soror Shanelle Estelle is a U.S. Air Force Veteran with 15 years of active-duty service. She possesses an Associate’s Degree in Business Management. Since crossing in 2014 she has assisted readily by serving as Big Sister, Dean, President for the Warner Robins Upsilon Chapter and State Director for the Southern Region. She prides herself in giving back to the community and mentoring the future leaders of Kappa Epsilon Psi Military Sorority Inc.

Soror Applewhite, the first female in her family lineage of service members, is a Retired Veteran of the US Active Duty Army additionally, she served in the US Air Force Reserve with a combined commitment of almost three decades. She has served as a Big Sister, Dean, Expansion Advisor, Soror Representative for Region 2 (now Southeastern Region), and the State Director for Region 3 (now Central Region). She is working towards her Doctor of Philosophy in Christian Counseling, with a specialization in Gerontology. She is at the present, serving as an educator, city-wide volunteer, and advocate for unifying communities. An experienced leader, she joined Kappa Epsilon PSI Military Sorority, Inc. to make an impact in the world alongside like-minded women while aggrandizing the mission, vision, and Sisterhood of KEY. She strives to instill in her sorors to always emulate the Elite Professional you want to be and see.

Director Jannece E. Thompson-Lawson

Soror Jannece Etolia Lawson was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. Her father is a retired factory worker, and her mother is a retired nurse, both still reside in Indiana. She has three biological siblings and several step siblings. She attended Vincennes University right after high school (C/O 1989). In 1991, she decided to join the Army Reserves. After serving two years in the Reserves, she went on active duty in 1993, and proudly served for an additional 24 years. In 2017, she retired as a First Sergeant. While on active duty, she was certified as a Geospatial Intelligence Analyst, worked in Military Operations, and ended her career as a First Sergeant. Her previous duty assignments included Fort Hood, TX; Camp Humphreys, South Korea; MacDill AFB, FL; Fort McPherson, GA (now Shaw AFB, SC); Pearl Harbor, HI; Fort Huachuca, AZ; Yongsan, South Korea and Fort Belvoir, VA; along with two overseas deployments. She earned an AAS and BS in Management at Wayland Baptist University in April 2007, and a Master’s Degree in Management at the University of Phoenix in 2011. She has a daughter, named Jannelle Elisa and a soon to be 8-year-old granddaughter, named Jeilani Elisha. She also has a fur baby (Chihuahua), named Rita. She joined Kappa Epsilon Psi WTR 2014. Her line is the “7 Magnificent Warriors”, her Soror name is Guardian Angel and her line number is 4 (Qu4d). She has served in several leadership positions since joining KEY, which include, Big Sister, Dean, Chapter Treasurer, Chapter Vice President, Chapter President, and State Director in the Western Region. She credits her time in KEY with helping her to truly learn the real meaning of Sisterhood. She is truly proud to be a member of KEY and loves all her Sorors and the support she has received since joining.

Director Yolanda Dean

Soror Yolanda Dean is a retired U.S. Air Force Veteran with 20 years of active duty service and over 17 years of federal service in Financial and Program Management. She possesses a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. Since crossing in SMR 2015, she has without wavering, diligently assisted readily. She has served as a Big Sister, and as the Vice President and President of Tampa Tau Chapter. Her priorities of ensuring the mission and vision of the organization is carried out, is done so in uniformity, unity, and with one voice - in teamwork and upholding the sisterhood.

Director Coy Landrum is a Navy Veteran with 30 years of combined active duty and Federal Service in Administration. She has served as the President of Detroit Omicron Chapter, State Director for Southeastern Region, and Soror Representative Western Region. She has assisted in developing Sorors as leaders and mentors helping to carry out the vision of the organization. She prides herself by being accountable to the promise of assisting readily when opportunities are presented by readily serving.
