KEY P.E.A.R.L.S. The KEY P.E.A.R.L.S. Youth Mentorship Program was first established on April 1, 2014 as part of the Kappa Epsilon Psi Military Sorority, Incorporated expansion project. The goal of the program is to better serve the community in which each local KEΨ chapter is located. In 2016, the organization hosted three lines, one at the National level and two at the local level with Augusta Xi and Lee Iota chapters. The program was placed on hiatus as KEΨ worked to restructure the organization. KEY P.E.A.R.L.S. is now ready to relaunch in 2021.
The KEY P.E.A.R.L.S. program will focus on life lessons through group discussions as well as group work and activities. Each KEY P.E.A.R.L.S. group will be led by mentors carefully selected from KEΨ . KEΨ mentors will provide positive role models and a training curriculum that encourages healthy living, social competence, academic achievement, and participation in community service.
The primary goals of KEY P.E.A.R.L.S. are:
Enhance individual confidence and connectedness to the community
Gain and implement new life skills
Give back to the community through service
Discover personal, career and education interest
Improve social competencies
